Michelle brings a well-rounded background and collaborative spirit to her work at KMB. Interested in serving the Northwest community through local projects, Michelle is a clear communicator and a quick study who is dedicated to teamwork and the projects she works on. Michelle believes responsible architecture should respond to the needs of each client without being imposing or adhering to preconceived notions of design.

“I want to make sure we respond to what the client wants. That we document it, track it, and hopefully go above and beyond their expectations.”

Michelle still gravitates towards drawing and sketching to flesh out ideas, work through challenges, and hone her intuitive approach. When designing, she starts with the simple question of “what sort of place am I in?” to guide her process. During design development is when Michelle really shines, combining the big picture with specific details to create a holistic vision.
