Director of Business Development Scott Ramsey believes in the power of connection to foster relationships and drive results. Fearless in his approach, Scott brings to KMB architects a perspective informed by over 20 years of marketing and business development in the built environment. Scott’s background includes tenure at a regional general contractor, pursuing commercial and civic projects; owner of his own marketing consultancy, advising small and mid-sized businesses; and sales and marketing for two building products manufacturers.

As a lifelong learner who values continual growth, Scott relishes the level of intelligence he encounters in the A/E/C industry, and appreciates the knowledge sharing culture within KMB architects. Each interaction is an opportunity to expand and deepen his understanding, while also applying his proven skills and leadership towards successful project pursuit strategies. Scott engages with KMB architects’ partners to identify and pursue opportunities in target and emerging markets while also mentoring and coaching individual teams to promote a business development culture throughout the firm. Through these efforts, Scott continues to grow the number of colleagues and coworkers who consider him a friend, something he finds to be the true measure of impact, value, mutual respect, and success.
