Project Description:

KMB is leading the design for the TVW Building Expansion to enhance functionality, accessibility, and public engagement. The new construction spans approximately 90,000 square feet and rises five stories, including a rooftop penthouse and occupied roof deck offering views of the Capitol Campus and Mount Rainier. The building includes a two-level parking garage at the base, supporting 72 stalls and EV infrastructure. On the floors above there are office suites and TV studio spaces, a central conference room, and a multi-purpose event space with a capacity for 500 guests. KMB incorporated interactive media exhibits across three levels at the northwest corner, creating a public-facing experience zone. Circulation is centralized through two stairways and elevators, with a prominent social stair connecting the interactive atrium.
