Project Description:
Due to the growing population within the Nisqually Indian Tribe, they decided to build a new Health and Wellness Center that encompasses a wide range of medical providers and health services. The design focused on incorporating the Nisqually Health Department’s concept of holistic healing through the “Healing Circle,” which encompasses spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional health. The center features a welcoming, calming, and healing environment through natural finishes and ample daylight. There is a medical clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy, natural healing center, and mental health services, all connected through a central glass corridor filled with plants and boardwalk.
