Project Description:
The Cowlitz Indian Tribe worked with KMB to design and develop the Cowlitz Tobacco Outlet, a new single-story wood-frame building with three drive-through windows. The car lanes have programmable signage over each lane to keep information current for customers driving up. A retail lobby is also available for walk-in customers, which is designed with a tongue and groove wood ceiling, skylights, slate walls, and a polished concrete floor, blending modern elements with natural warmth. Additionally, the building features a large receiving and storage area for inventory, an administrative office and break room for staff, restrooms, and utility spaces.
