Project Description:
St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church is serving a growing community, and is working with KMB to develop a new, non-profit literacy education facility on the church campus for the REACH program, which is committed to transforming lives through literacy education. The layout incorporated large horizontal windows for ample natural light, reducing energy use and fostering a positive atmosphere that is conducive to learning and personal growth. The facility will feature flexible classrooms, workshop spaces, administrative support, and essential student services including showers and laundry. The building is purposefully designed to adapt to future educational models and will serve as a long-term asset.
