Project Description:
The City of Prineville acquired a two-story medical office building to renovate into the new police department. The location is just outside of the downtown city core, which has greatly increased response times and safety for the 911 Dispatch Center and the Police Headquarters. Programming for the newly renovated facility was determined based on the existing square footage, and features administration, investigation rooms, evidence processing and storage, and a multi-purpose community room. The new Police Department also has spacious office areas, dedicated locker rooms, and a modern conference room featuring a kitchenette with ample storage.
