Project Description:

The Pierce County Department of Facilities Management identified the need for expansion to improve the efficiency, cohesion, and public access of the Justice Center building. Upon purchasing a new building at 1501 Market St., executive, administrative, and legislative departments were relocated, which helped consolidate the judicial service departments while making more room for them to expand. The renovated space houses the Superior Court and District Court with five brand new courtrooms. The renewed interior architecture and design has modernized the Justice Center so it can continue to serve Pierce County effectively.
