Project Description:

Pierce County Department of Facilities Management identified that an expansion was needed to relocate executive, administrative, and legislative departments from the Judicial Center into their own building. KMB performed a due diligence investigation, conducted a Building Condition Assessment, and develop initial test fit concept plans and cost estimates in anticipation of the County’s purchase of the 1501 Market St. Building in Tacoma. The newly purchased building serves as the County’s Administrative Headquarters, and is undergoing various renovations to modernize the space, including the addition of new County Council Chambers, Council offices, and County Executive offices.
