Project Description:
Previously the Cascade Behavior Health building, the converted Olympic Heritage Behavioral Hospital serves civil conversion patients from Western State Hospital. The facility has been transformed into a secure, therapeutic behavioral health environment through a remodel. Multiple wards now feature bright hallways, accommodating rooms with double beds, all-gender showers, and social spaces including a day room and lounge. The cafeteria and kitchen were modernized to create efficient meal preparation and serving while offering a calming space for dining patients. Additionally, a nurses’ station, staff breakroom, medication office, and laundry rooms were updated or created.
