The Nooksack Indian Tribe identified limitations with their existing facilities with regards to space and functionality. The tribe has outgrown the current medical clinic, with other essential services like dental and long-term disease care in separate buildings. For efficiency and cohesion, it was determined that one new shared space would be ideal in order to provide sufficient room to provide an exceptional health and wellness experience to all tribal members. The proposed medical clinic would be built in Deming, WA with all staff and practices moving to the new space while the existing clinic is repurposed. KMB conducted a preliminary architectural feasibility study with renderings to start the process.
