Project Description:

As part of the Nisqually State Park development, Washington State Parks identified an interest in creating a day use and interpretive area next to the Nisqually State Park. KMB predesigned concepts for the Nisqually Village Center, which would bring the community together while honoring Salish culture and Nisqually heritage. The proposed plan includes additional trails to explore as well as gathering spaces such as a coast Salish meeting hall, an outdoor salmon cooking area, and a cultural learning center with an interpretive facility and covered work area.
