Project Description:
Washington State Parks has opted to construct a new state park within Thurston County nestled in beautiful Nisqually. The park will include camp sites for trailers and tents, camp cabins, and housing for park rangers to provide options for overnight stays. A river overlook will provide views of the nearby Nisqually River, which is a core element of the overall design of the administration building. This space will feature a front desk, lobby, offices, and a meeting room, complete with tall windows showcasing the surrounding outdoors. The park will also have a welcome center building, maintenance/storage building, comfort stations with restrooms and showers, and a wastewater treatment facility.
