Project Description:
Morton School District has a number of building deficiencies and space needs due to the age of the existing buildings and growth of the district. KMB helped identify these deficiencies and provided options for expanding the High School/Middle School to incorporate the Elementary School needs. The proposed renovation included upgrading the existing library and administration in the heart of the high school to accommodate additional staff and create a secure vestibule for elementary students. There would also be renovations of the existing vocational building and gym building, along with an addition to the gymnasium to bring it up to current needs.
