Project Description:

Morton School District has a number of building deficiencies and space needs due to the age of the existing buildings and growth of the district. KMB supported the school district in bond planning by helping to identify building deficiencies and provide options for expanding the High School/Middle School to incorporate the Elementary School needs.

The proposed renovation of the High School included upgrading the existing library and administration in the heart of the high school to accommodate additional staff and create a secure vestibule for elementary students. A renovation and addition for an elementary wing with six additional classrooms. Renovation of the existing vocational building and the renovation and addition to the existing gym building to bring them up to current needs. Exterior building and site work to allow for high school and elementary playfields, bus and car parking.
