Project Description:
The existing Lewis County Juvenile Court and Detention Center facility was outdated and lacked modern infrastructure needs. It was severely undersized for the programs and population being served. The facility was renovated to upgrade essential elements of infrastructure, and features an updated lobby and modern color-coded wayfinding throughout the building. Coupled with the renovation was a new addition built to serve administrative, juvenile probation, and juvenile courts. This new addition features bright aesthetics and operational circulation supporting the safety and security of the facility’s detained youth and staff.
