Project Description:
The City of Lacey identified a need to replace the 30-year-old police headquarters building on the existing campus with a new state-of-the-art Law Enforcement Facility. The new Police Department has been designed and constructed with ample space for current needs as well as room to accommodate anticipated future growth. It now has sufficient space for evidence processing and storage, interviews and investigations, and a multi-purpose community room. Across from the Police Department is a separate training center with a firing range, gun cleaning areas, simulation rooms, and administrative space. The selected site features repurposed wood from the trees onsite, with many preserved.
