Project Description:
The City of Lacey is interested in replacing the existing museum building that has outgrown its current space after 40 years of collecting and education. The renovation will serve a larger, more diverse population through unique exhibits, dedicated research spaces, secure storage for museum collections, an events space, and a classroom. Additionally, the museum will be able to provide programs such as theater, art, dance, music, and wellness to serve community interests. The new Museum and Cultural Center will be an attractive and engaging place for residents, visitors, and field trips from local schools, creating more opportunities for people to learn about Lacey’s history and heritage.
