Project Description:
The Baker Cottage North at the Green Hill School was long-vacant and was fully renovated with a 500 square-foot addition to accommodate additional programming space. This particular space serves the older youth population to support the development of independent living skills for community reintegration. In addition to single and double sleeping rooms and restrooms and showers, the renovation created essential spaces for independent learning, work areas, group counseling, gatherings, and education, including a room with a life skills kitchen. Staff offices and storage areas support the school’s focus on creating a positive, supportive environment for older youth to learn essential skills.
