KMB worked with TCC to develop a 10-year Safety and Emergency Master Plan to enhance the safety and security of people, facilities, and grounds across TCC’s Tacoma and Gig Harbor campuses. Through extensive site visits, stakeholder engagement, and system evaluations, our team provided a detailed analysis of existing electronic and physical security systems, emergency communications, and lighting. Our team recommended upgrades to access control, surveillance, emergency communications, and physical security. The plan includes cost estimates, implementation timelines, and prioritization tools to guide future capital improvements and support a layered approach to security through deterrence, detection, delay/denial, and defense.
