“Our future is bright. The partnership group is doing a fantastic job leading us into the future. My role is to help them achieve as much success as they can. The partners set the vision and strategy, and I ensure that our procedures and policies can be built upon as the firm expands.”
Meet the Team | Paul
Business Manager Paul Faul joins KMB architects and the executive team to ensure the financial health of the firm. Whether managing billing, reviewing a contract, or administering benefits, Paul does what it takes to help his colleagues. With in-depth experience as a controller for an aviation company and his experience at a public accounting firm, he brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to enhance the firm’s growth trajectory.
KMB architects’ positive culture, with an emphasis on valuing employees as assets, drew Paul in immediately. He cites Coffee Wednesdays and Friday Happy Hours as his favorite aspects of the job, because he can build personal relationships with colleagues and create a “second home.”
“There’s an employee-first mentality that encourages the development of people. The partners take a long-term view and are willing to invest in employees. This way, our people benefit, and in turn, the firm benefits.”
Helping people drives Paul, and he sees himself as a “partner to the partners.” He’s constantly looking for opportunities to improve the operational processes and procedures of the firm in an effort to support KMB architects’ vision and strategy. Paul’s strength lies in his problem-solving abilities, which are enhanced by his ability to see both the big picture and the small details to arrive at thoughtfully considered solutions.
In his personal time, Paul stays busy with home improvements and wrangling his four dogs – all lab mixes – and his cat. Three of the dogs were adopted from his fraternal twin brother who is working with the U.S. Army in Germany. Paul enjoys being outdoors, with summers full of boating and winters spent enjoying the mountains.
