Heather attributes her professional writing abilities to her years as a freelance journalist, where she developed the essential ability to adopt diverse tone and voice depending on the subject. She also worked as a web designer and copywriter for her own small business and gained skills to design mindfully. With a focus on accessibility, Heather's designs balance artistry with readability to ensure everyone can experience her content.

"Most people say they aren't artistic, but everyone knows a bad design, picture, or article when they see it. I lean into this natural instinct that we possess to create designs that people enjoy, even if they don't know why."

When she's not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her mom, boyfriend, and dog. She is an avid gamer, amateur singer, and aspiring author that is working on a new novel. Heather likes to binge funny TV shows to unwind and is always looking for new movies to watch , particularly comedies, thrillers, or slice-of-life films.
